Avalon Airport Taxi from Melbourne: Distance, Timing and Booking Tips

Avalon is not a short airport hop

Avalon Airport sits south-west of Melbourne and usually takes longer than a Tullamarine run from the eastern suburbs. That is why clear quoting and a pre-booked vehicle matter — passengers want to know the plan before they commit.

Royal Taxi Melbourne runs Avalon pickups and drop-offs alongside Melbourne, Essendon and Moorabbin airport work. Tell us your suburb, flight time and luggage count when you book.

Typical timing from the east and south-east

From many eastern suburbs, Avalon transfers often need a larger buffer than Tullamarine. Peak freeway traffic and roadworks can add time. Our team confirms a pickup window based on your address and departure time rather than a one-size-fits-all estimate.

How to book an Avalon transfer

Select airport transfer on the booking form, enter Avalon as the airport, and add flight details. We confirm availability and the meeting plan with you directly. If you are travelling with a group or oversized luggage, choose an SUV or people mover from the start.
